  • DAVE PIATEK

Dave Piatek has been producing, engineering and mixing for artists of all genres for over 15 years as the owner of Bottleworks Recording. In addition to his work in the studio, he is a member of the adjunct faculty in the Recording Arts & Technology program at Cuyahoga Community College. In 2011 he co-founded ROOM SOUND, a software company which has partnered with Kurt Ballou (Converge), Bill Stevenson & Jason Livermore (Rise Against / The Descendents), Beau Burchell (Saosin), and Jay Maas (Defeater) to create the finest drum sample libraries available anywhere.

Steve Perrino is a producer, songwriter, mixer, and engineer at Bottleworks Recording. Over the course of the last decade he has established a notable presence in Northeast Ohio, and as a self-taught engineer, he has developed creative production techniques to push artists to their full potential. His philosophy is to capture the natural energy of a band’s performance, while allowing a song's arrangement and instrumentation to evolve throughout the recording process. Alongside producing, Steve is also a songwriter with Heartbeat Music Group and a guitarist in Envoi & The Grievance Club.

THE STUDIO

Located in a former soda bottling factory built in the 1940s, the Bottleworks Recording Studio is a full-service recording facility located in Cleveland's University Circle neighborhood. The studio features an assortment of instruments, amps and effects available to clients at no additional charge. Numerous restaurants and entertainment options are within walking distance of the studio. On-site lodging is available for out-of-town clients.
